Sans tâche (Spotless/Stain-free)

         Using offcuts from the studio, Antoinette Parrau conceived the Sans tâche brooch. Each brooch is unique, cut and sanded by hand.

       Sans tâche is a patch of yellow, irradiated by the neon pink of its hidden side. Sans tâche is at once a paint stain and a spot of light. Sans tâche is both material and evanescent. Rebus turned Sculpture. Sculpture turned color. Color turned light. Light turned material. Material turned brooch.
